Yes, you can do a partial stained glass window, like just the top half or bottom half, as long as there are separate sections in the window frame where a panel can be placed and supported. If the window has multiple sections that break it up, that gives us something to work with. But if it's one continuous opening with no divisions, it's more difficult because the stained glass panel needs something structural to sit on and be secured to.
